At Brown Beer Nixon Mallon, we do not try to be Jack-of-all-trades. Our six partners are highly experienced professionals specialising in specific areas of the law.

The firm was formed in Spring 2004 with the merger of two well-established legal firms, Brown Beer & Co, of Redcar, and Nixon Mallon, the criminal law division of Middlesbrough-based Askews Nixon Mallon.

Now one of the bigger solicitor practices in the Teesside area, we have offices in Middlesbrough and Redcar, and our partners are supported by a team of junior solicitors, legal executives and accredited Police Station Representatives, as well as administrative staff.

Our criminal solicitors are Duty Solicitor accredited, and family solicitors are members of the Solicitors’ Family Law Association, and the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and Children's Panel.
